Electric Future
Electronica-mixtape designed minimalistic to reflect the somewhat minimalistic content on it. I realised that I have recorded a track by Jean Michel Jarre on all my mixtapes so far! Well, what can I say, he's playing here in Oslo in August, and I'm certainly looking forward to it! Kim thought the mixtape was a little bit boring, lot of ambient stuff but I like it, since I often listen to ambient stuff.
SORRY TO SAY THAT THIS TAPE HASN'T BEEN UPLOADED EITHER, BUT ALL OF THEM WILL BE IN A NOT VERY DISTANT FUTURE. SORRY ABOUT THAT, THE WHOLE POINT IS OFFCOURSE THE JOY OF LISTENING TO THE TAPE.
Anyway, here is the

What I really like about this "album", is that it has a clear red thread! It's thrash cassette, and Kim does not try to hide it. It's really fun and great, probably the most classic type mixtape, no or little silence, its great food for your ears throughout the whole listening excperience! And Kim has ripped both other cassettes, vinyl, radio and probably some cd's to! Kudos! Thank you, Kim!

Update: The graveyard mixtape is up for grabs
It's probably not the most exciting mixtape for you international visitors out there because of the norwegian talking at the start and in between, but the tracks are great and I think it is a good compilation!
The women are from venus - men are from mars mixtape will be uploaded as soon as possible! It takes a lot of time to rip cassettes :-P. The download link is located in the post!

Women are from venus - Men are from mars
This is a little tape I made yesterday. Side A contains great tunes by female artists, and side B is full of great tunes by male artists. The name is very similar to the norwegian band "women are from venus, men are fromasj" (fromage), but it has nothing to do with that band. I tried to keep it very simple, no talking, only music with some sounds from movies. See if you can find out which movies I have "sampled". And yes, you guessed - I made the tape pink in photoshop. I need some paint-pencils so I can paint the cassettes. That's gonna be swell.
SIDE A:
1. Bette Davis Eyes Kim Carnes
2. Mysteries of love Julee Cruise
3. There must be an angel playing with my heart Eurythmics
4. Willow's song From the Wicker man official soundtrack
5. Wuthering Heights Kate Bush
6. Yksiäinen harmonika Arja Saijonma
7. Fire in the garden Iris Waves
SIDE B:
Wicked Game Chris Isaak
Life on your own Human League
Hypnose Jean Michel Jarre
Hey that's no way to say goodbye (live) Leonard Cohen
Satellite of love Lou Reed
Papirsklip Kim Larsen
Bulk of knowledge R. Stevie Moore
